Hypnotherapy is an incredibly effective and versatile way of dealing with a wide range of issues and making major changes in your life possible.

As well as help with confidence, motivation, and performance at work or sport. Hypnotherapy may also help if you are feeling anxious or have low mood and, if you are serious about giving up smoking, hypnotherapy may also help.

In addition, because hypnotherapy is deeply relaxing, it helps relieve stress and makes us feel better about tackling our problems in a more positive manner by accessing our inner potential.

Also, in terms of weight loss, if you are serious about losing weight, hypnotherapy may also offer an alternative in dealing with weight control by helpng you with motivation to lose weight.

Take a few moments to consider these questions:

  • Are you ever affected by stress, feeling anxious, or low mood?
  • Do you sometimes have sleepless nights or suffer from lack of confidence, self-esteem or motivation?
  • Would you like to achieve greater performance at work or in sport or change something like managing weight, stopping smoking, or overcoming a fear or phobia?

If the answer to any of these questions is "yes" then hypnotherapy may help.

History

The medical practice of hypnotherapy, has been approved by the British Medical Association (BMA), a recognition which was first stated in 1892, reinforced in 1955, and followed by the American Medical Association (AMA) in 1958.

In addition, The British Psychological Society stated that, with regard to the therapeutic uses of hypnosis, enough studies have now accumulated to suggest that the inclusion of hypnotic procedures may be beneficial in the management and treatment of a wide range of conditions and problems encountered in the practice of medicine, psychiatry and psychotherapy.

In 1955 the British Medical Association endorsed the practice of hypnosis in Medical School education, since then it has become a valuable addition to conventional medical treatment with The Royal Society of Medicine having an entire section devoted to hypnosis and psychosomatic medicine.
